ARTIST STATEMENT
Santvs (born 1986 in São Paulo) graduated in Graphic Design from the University Center of Fine Arts in São Paulo in 2008, and did a master’s degree in Traditional 2D Animation at ArtAcademy in São Paulo. In 2014, as an artist, he uses painting as the main means of expression of his experiences and created a world that addresses the spiritual and behavioral dilemmas of the new times, the limits be- tween the sacred and the profane, the construction of identity, the for- getting of memories and traditions . A rich realm of fibers and fabrics, which determine temporary labels, which self-dynamize due to their own contradictions, which fluctuate into facets and are transformed forever.
